Internal Audit Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate auditor for reviewing and evaluating an organization’s operations, assessing the effectiveness and adequacy of all internal controls of management. The role of internal auditor entails reporting results of an audit to management by preparing audit work papers and evidence. You provide assistance to the external auditors of the company in ensuring that the annual financial statement audit review is performed at a low cost, thereby making some savings to the company. You also involve identifying improvement opportunities and risk factors from analyzing company operational functions. The duties of the internal auditor entail identifying creative insights, outliers, and value by carrying out analytical procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

Objectively review the company’s business processes
Preparing working papers documenting adequately work performed
Assessing the reliability and effectiveness use of internal controls and assist in reviewing administrative procedures
Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating team members on progress
Examine the efficiency and effectiveness in Finance, Accounting, Warehouse Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, and other processes.
Overview, analyze, follow up and report to management the implementation progress of audit recommendations
Follow up on ISO 9001 : 2015 audit implementation

Qualifications

At least Bachelor’s Degree (GPA ≥ 3.25) in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related subjects from a reputable university
At least 2 years of proven working experience in related field
Strong logical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
Good communication, report writing, and presentation skills
Excellent understanding of auditing principles, systems, and procedures
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 : 2015 certification and having ISO 9001 : 2015 certificate
High-achiever, can work under pressure, and detail-oriented
Willingness to go on a business trip
